Our Story
BestWay Punta Cana was founded in 2012 by Carlos Méndez, a Punta Cana native who wanted to share the authentic beauty of the Dominican Republic with the world — not just the beach resorts.
What started as a one-man operation with a single van has grown into a full-service tour and transfer company with a passionate team of 15 local guides, drivers, and support staff. We've personally escorted over 15,000 travelers to Saona Island, Samaná, and every hidden gem in between.
Our philosophy is simple: every guest is treated like family. We combine local expertise with world-class service to make every adventure safe, seamless, and spectacular.
